Message to All

In 2011, Orange Soccer Club unified its youth soccer program within the City of Orange, CA by merging its interests with Orange Junior Soccer Club and Orange County Premier. OSC believes this incorporation of soccer programs enables the operations to be streamlined, and club affairs to be advertised with one voice within the community. Many of the values that its members maintained for approximately 40 years have been incorporated within OJSC/OCP operating philosophies.
As part of the merge, Orange Soccer Club transitioned to OCP tournaments the operation of its two annual youth soccer tournaments, or the March – “OCP Mayors Cup” & the August – “Toyota of Orange Classic”. These tournaments have operated (Mayors for 24 years and the Classic for nearly 40 years), and will continue to offer well organized competitive youth events. Mike Chilcott & Brook Hansen will continue to Champion both OCP tournaments, and are happy to announce that OCP Competition Director, Erik Hurtarte has endorsed the tournaments & this has brought his soccer expertise to the tournament staff. In addition, the efforts from both OSC and OJSC/OCP membership will continue to bring experienced help and new energy to ensure that OCP can offer competitive tournaments for all level teams (with upper & lower bracketing in Orange & Blue flights, resp.)
2012 was a highly successful for both tournaments with attendance at record levels with attendance with teams from CA and other states. OCP looks forward to the future and guarantees an enjoyable experience to all tournament applicants.
